WHAT IS THE LOCAL PLANNING COMMITTEE (LPC)? 

Guidance for Troy's Riverwalk DRI process was provided by a 20-member advisory group representing residents, businesses, property owners, local organizations and other stakeholders in the city. Local Planning Committee meetings were open to the public. Please check below for upcoming meeting dates and Zoom login information.

LPC Meetings (In Person & Online via Zoom)

The LPC met once a month from February 2022 to July 2022. All LPC meetings were open to the public, with time reserved at the end of each meeting for a Public Comment Session. Please check back prior to each meeting for meeting location and other information. Zoom login will remain the same each month. Meeting notes, presentations and recordings will be made available here after each LPC meeting. 

July 2022

LPC Meeting #7: Final LPC Vote on Recommended DRI Projects

Wednesday, July 13, 2022, 5:00PM-5:30PM (Virtual Only)

LPC members voted online on the final slate of Troy DRI projects to recommend for State funding. Projects that were under consideration can be reviewed here.

LPC Meeting #6: Final Project Evaluation Session

LPC members had a final online evaluation session on the Troy DRI project proposals.

LPC Meeting #4: Project Evaluation

Monday, May 16, 2022, 5:00-8:00pm

At the fourth LPC meeting, LPC members began to evaluate Troy DRI project proposals. A recording of the meeting and summary of project proposals can be reviewed below. The public provided input on these projects at an Open House on May 23, 2022.

At the third LPC meeting, the LPC had the opportunity to learn and ask questions about the 24 Troy DRI project proposal submissions.

LPC Meeting #2: Project Assessment & Initial Project Discussion

At the second LPC meeting, held at the Bulmer Telecommunications Center, LPC members reviewed the initial set of potential projects and discussed ways to promote the Open Call for Projects to encourage additional project proposals.

At the kickoff meeting in early February, the LPC was introduced to the DRI program and provided input on the DRI vision, goals and potential project list.
